A Pioneer is an individual who wants control over their work life. They choose when they want to work and where whilst earning living wage at each Destination.
A Destination is an organisation or a company that is hiring brilliant Pioneers at National Living Wage or above for temporary work. They have been verified by Pioneering People to ensure they are safe for Pioneers to work at as well as having transparent reviews written by other Pioneers who have worked on their sites previously.
Pioneering People is available in the UK only at the moment. We will be expanding to other countries in the near future.

Yes, we require our Pioneers to be 18 years old and over to use our platform.
On the home page of your app, you will be able to see jobs listed. You can tap on them to read more details or look up jobs depending on location, job type etc…
You can submit your interest in the position. Once the Destination receives your application – they will decide whether they will have you onboard. You will receive and email and a mobile notification if you are accepted for any jobs you apply for.
When you see a job that you are interested in, you will instantly be able to apply by pressing on the apply now button. The Destination will then receive your application which will be your profile and select you for the job if they are happy to go ahead.
Tap on your profile in the right-hand corner of the app, you will enter your profile settings where you can adjust and edit your profile information.
When creating your account at Pioneering People, you will be asked to insert your card details. These will be stored so that we can pay you on the day that you work. To ensure that your full payment comes through, please ensure you check in and check out of every Destination you work for. If you do not, we will not be aware that you have completed your work and will be unable to pay you.
No, Pioneering People is completely free. There are no fees for Pioneers to be on the platform and there are no fees taken from Pioneers’ hourly rates which they make on the platform.
At the moment we only support debit cards for receiving earnings. Your safety is important to us so we have opted with this payment method for the moment and may expand our payout methods in the near future. No there is not, you can be paid any amount directly into your account once you complete a shift.
Each Destination that signs up with Pioneering People will be verified by the admin team at Pioneering People. They will need to upload Health and Safety documentation as well as a range of other materials to ensure that they are safe for our Pioneers. We also ask Destinations to upload their trading address to their profiles so we can see where our Pioneers are going and if they are legitimate locations for work.
Payments should be made within the day of you checking out from your Destination. If they are not, please check if you have entered your card details correctly when onboarding. If you have and the payment still does not go through, please contact us at hello@pioneering-people.com where we can check for any errors on our end. We appreciate your patience.
Yes, you can. We take the safety of our Pioneers seriously at Pioneering People and ensure that each job listing, and Destination goes through a thorough verification process. If you do spot that a Destination or a Pioneer has been inappropriate or fraudulent, please contact us at hello@pioneering-people.com.
All Destinations will be able to leave transparent reviews on Pioneers and vice versa. You can leave a review for every Destination you visit. They will be shown publicly to everybody else on Pioneering People so that when you are choosing a Destination, you can see other Pioneers’ experiences there.
Yes, you can delete your account as and when you would like to. You can deactivate it through the Account settings.
