Doorman saves Destination’s Day
Offnet, a platform that makes booking social events easy was throwing one of their biggest parties to date (200+ tickets sold).
With weeks of planning and organizing it, they had left one detail to the last minute…
Finding a doorman to scan tickets and check people into the event.
Luckily for them, they had already signed up to Pioneering People prior to this and could instantly post this job on our platform. Within 2 hours, they had been matched to the ideal Pioneer who had their Right to Work and identity verified all through the platform.
The evening came around and the Pioneer showed up to the Shoreditch location and was ready to scan tickets. He checked in to his shift at 11pm on the Friday and checked out to his shift in the early hours of Saturday morning — leaving the attendees of the party feeling safe and the organisers relaxed.
By later that Saturday morning (less than 12 hours from when he checked out) our Pioneer was paid!
He now had the well earnt money from his shift he did a couple of hours prior to spend on his own day off and enjoy the rest of the weekend with his family.
