One of our first Pioneers is a full time architecture student. Now if you know anything about architecture, you can guess that studying how to design and build stuff is not that easy. They’re basically almost always in a studio session, reading, creating and researching. When they’re not doing all of the above, they, like the rest of us, like to have a little fun.

With ever changing schedules, finding a job that can fund architecture supplies and some fun on the weekend is also not the easiest thing in the world. That’s where our Pioneer discovered Pioneering People.

Experienced in the world of hospitality and having a natural gift at mixing drinks, she set up her account as a mixologist. Her profile was spotted by a fine dining location in West London and essentially was verified and matched within 48 hours.

Our architecture student now makes £15 an hour working as and when she can, whilst our Destination has a fantastic pair of hands behind the bar on those busy Saturday nights.

Being one of the first Pioneers on the platform, she was more than happy to share her story and how we enabled her to fund a winter weekend getaway to Spain…

She also had some feedback for us, nervous as we had just launched. We were prepared for the worst. But took a deep breath of relief when all she wanted was more shifts, so that her friends could also benefit.

Your wishes are our commands as now we have partnered with a range of restaurants in Central and West London as well as a few event companies.
