A Pioneering Paediatrician, learns & earns

To celebrate International Women’s Month, our partner Destination, Jumpstart hosted a 100+ attendee event. Part of their ‘Women in Startups’ initiative, they put together a panel of 3 female founders and opened up the event to young entrepreneurial women to network and learn.

To host such a huge event, their Community Manager, Emilie, needed more than just herself and the usual team. This is where she posted a temporary, event staff job on Pioneering People.

She was matched to over 5 people, but ended up choosing a Pioneering Paediatrician. A children’s nurse by day and a Pioneering event staff worker by night.

Our Pioneer, showed up to her shift, organised the welcome drinks, made sure everything ran smoothly then checked out and went home. Before lunchtime the next day, she was paid over £80 for a few hours of work.
