What does being self-employed mean for me, in the UK?

✅ Checking Your Visa Status — Not all visas allow self-employment. Before you start, make sure your visa lets you work for yourself, or you could risk breaking immigration rules.

✅ Registering with HMRC — The trading allowance in the UK is £1,000, this means you do not need to tell HMRC if you are making under that on our platform or with any other forms of self employment. However, if you do end up surpassing this limit, you do need to tell them.
